Surrey Storm recorded a convincing 63-56 victory against Cardiff Dragons at Surrey Sports Park.

Proscovia Peace scored 47 goals as the Storm moved to fifth in the Netball Super League table.

Cardiff Dragons trailed by just four goals going into the final quarter but Surrey pulled away, winning by a seven-goal margin.

"I'm really proud of how clinical we were in attack," said player of the match Sophie Drakeford-Lewis.

Surrey now take on unbeaten leaders Manchester Thunder next Friday, in their toughest game of the season so far.

"Thunder are one of the classiest teams in the league, we know going away to them that they have a really good home record," said Surrey head coach Mikki Austin.

"We know it's going to be really tough. But we go there with nothing to lose and everything to gain."

Earlier in the day, Leeds Rhinos earned their first win of the season with a convincing 73-34 win against Strathclyde Sirens.

On Friday, Thunder continued their 100% start to the campaign by ending Severn Stars' unbeaten record with a 65-50 win, while London Pulse demolished Team Bath 76-43.
