Salford v Colchester off because of frozen pitch

A match official held an early pitch inspection, to allow a decision to be made

Salford City's home League Two fixture with Colchester United on Friday has been postponed because of a frozen pitch at the Peninsula Stadium.

With temperatures expected to remain low, chances of the pitch thawing were deemed unlikely.

Both clubs will work with the English Football League to reschedule the game.
