A match official held an early pitch inspection, to allow a decision to be madeSalford City's home League Two fixture with Colchester United on Friday has been postponed because of a frozen pitch at the Peninsula Stadium.
The Ammies had a pitch inspection by a Football Association match official on Thursday morning, which confirmed the surface was unplayable.
With temperatures expected to remain low, chances of the pitch thawing were deemed unlikely.
Both clubs will work with the English Football League to reschedule the game.
