The Republic of Ireland will host champions England and Sweden at the Aviva Stadium in their tough Euro 2025 qualifying campaign.

Eileen Gleeson's side were paired with three of the top five sides in the world in Tuesday's draw.

The Irish begin their campaign away to France on 5 April before returning to Dublin four days later to host holders England on 9 April.

The Lionesses kick off their campaign at home to Sweden on 5 April.

The Republic will move from their familiar home in Tallaght to the Aviva for the visit of England, and also for their next home fixture against Sweden on 31 May.

In a quick turnaround, the Republic then travel to Sweden on 4 June.

In the final window, the Republic are away to England on 12 July before their final game at home to France on 16 July.

The venue for the home game against France has yet to be confirmed, with the Aviva unavailable. Kick-off times for all fixtures have also still to be announced.

Head coach Gleeson said she hoped the switch to the Aviva would see a huge attendance for the fixtures against England and Sweden.

"It is fantastic to have the opportunity to bring our fans back to the Aviva Stadium again and to hopefully attract many more new fans with the visit of England in April and Sweden in May," she said.
