Scotland captain Jane Ross scores her first and Rangers' second at BroadwoodRangers remain three points clear at the top of the SWPL after Jane Ross scored five in a 10-0 victory against Dundee United.
Celtic warmed up for new head coach Elena Sadiku's arrival on Monday with a 9-0 win over Montrose.
Third-placed Glasgow City remain five points off Celtic after a 5-1 defeat of Spartans.
Hibernian beat Hamilton 4-0, Hearts were 3-0 winners over Motherwell and Partick Thistle defeated Aberdeen 2-0.
Hibs are nine points below City and two above Hearts and Thistle. Hamilton remain six points adrift at the bottom with Spartans still in the relegation play-off place.
United and Montrose are a point above Spartans, six below Motherwell and nine off Aberdeen.
At Broadwood, Kirsty Maclean latched on to a loose ball to put Rangers ahead and Ross took advantage of a deflection to make it two. Ross pounced again, scoring on the rebound after her initial shot was blocked, and Sarah Ewens' strike made it four moments later.
Mia McAulay got Rangers' first goal of the second half from the left-hand side and Ross swept in for her hat-trick. Ewens got her second after latching on to a rebound off a saved Ross shot, Ross added a header in the closing minutes and in, added time, Borgan Hay struck.
Earlier, Celtic scored nine without reply. Shen Menglu struck to put them in front early on and Amy Gallacher's shot doubled their advantage. Tiree Burchill tapped in a third and Burchill headed her second after the break.
Colette Cavanagh drilled in the hosts' fifth and Kelly Clark added her name to the scoresheet with a header before Gallacher turned in her second. Sydney Cummings scored her first SWPL goal for Celtic on the rebound after Caitlin Hayes had headed against the crossbar and Murphy Agnew completed the rout.
David Haley, who took charge of last week's Scottish Cup win over Ayr United, oversaw the Celtic team again and will continue in his role as assistant manager after Sadiku's arrival. Sadiku's first game in charge will be Friday's SWPL Cup semi-final against Rangers, which is live on BBC Alba, iPlayer and the BBC Sport website and app.
Lauren Davidson gave Glasgow City the lead from the penalty spot and Emily Whelan headed a quick second. Becky Galbraith nodded Spartans back into the contest but Davidson's finish restored City's two-goal advantage before Aleigh Gambone made it four from close range and Kinga Kozak completed the scoring at 5-1.
Addie Handley nodded Hearts in front at K-Park and Katie Lockwood netted from the edge of the box for the visitors after the break. Danni Findlay made the points safe from close range.
Michaela McAlonie buried Hibs' opener and Ellis Notley headed their second. Jorian Baucom then scored twice in quick succession, her second from the penalty spot.
Thistle, like Hibs, scored all their goals in the first half. Linzi Taylor struck from just inside the box to put them in front and Rosie Slater's deflected effort made it two.
Partick Thistle and Hibernian meet in next Sunday's SWPL Cup semi-final, which is also live on BBC Alba and digital platforms.
