Uncapped Northampton Saints prop Elliot Millar-Mills has been called up to the Scotland squad for the first time after an injury to Will Hurd.

The Leicester Tigers forward has dropped out with a foot injury, while Gloucester fly-half Adam Hastings misses out with a knee problem.

Tighthead Miller-Mills' call comes at the age of 31 ahead of the Six Nations.

It means he could now follow in the footsteps of sister Bridge, who has played for the Scotland women's team.

Stockport-born Miller-Mills, who qualifies for Scotland through his Scottish mother, has had spells with Edinburgh and Wasps before impressing with Northampton since the start of the season.

Meanwhile, Edinburgh prop Javan Sebastian and Glasgow Warriors scrum-half Jamie Dobie will also train with the Scotland squad as they continue their recovery from injury.
