Kenneth Vargas' late strike saw off Greenock Morton to seal Heart of Midltohian's spot in the Scottish Cup semi-finals.
Dougie Imrie's hosts managed to hold out for 85 minutes before being caught on the counter by the Premiership side.
Lawrence Shankland was through on goal and laid it off to Vargas who slotted the ball into the far corner.
