Eberechi Eze has signed a new three-and-a-half year contract with Crystal Palace.

The deal takes the 25-year-old midfielder through to 2027 and is a big boost to Palace after Eze had entered into the final two years of his contract.

Eze signed for Palace from Queens Park Rangers in deal worth £19.5m in 2020.

He was the club's top goalscorer last season, with 10 in the Premier League as well as four assists.

Treble winners Manchester City had shown an interest in signing him during the summer.

He made his debut for England in June as a substitute in a 4-0 Euro 2024 qualifying win against Malta and has made two international appearances so far.

Eze ruptured his Achilles tendon in 2021 but has recovered to become one of the club's most important players.
