Britain's Dakota Ditcheva and a host of Bellator stars are among the fighters confirmed to compete in the 2024 Professional Fighters League Regular Season.

Ditcheva, 25, who won the PFL Europe flyweight tournament last year, will debut in the global league alongside Bellator women's flyweight champion Liz Carmouche and ex-lightweight title holder Patricky 'Pitbull' Freire.

The PFL acquired Bellator in November, inheriting its roster.

"The toughest test in MMA, the PFL Regular Season, just got tougher with the addition of stars from Bellator," said PFL chief Peter Murray.

The PFL's Global League format features six divisional leagues with the top four from each weight class progressing to the play-offs.

The eventual winners from each division earn a $1m (£790,000) prize.

Ditcheva, who secured a $100,000 (£79,000) prize for her PFL Europe success last year, starts her flyweight season in San Antonio, Texas on 4 April, alongside American Carmouche.

The heavyweights also start their campaign in Texas with Russia's former Bellator interim champion Valentin Moldavsky included.

The lightweights, featuring Brazil's Freire, and the light-heavyweights start their seasons in Las Vegas, Nevada on 12 April, with the welterweights and featherweights beginning their campaigns in Chicago, Illinois on 19 April.
