Marie Bouzkova overcame an ankle injury to beat Emma Navarro and win the Nottingham Open for her first grass-court singles title.
Czech fourth seed Bouzkova twice received treatment on the injury but rallied to see off the American 7-6 (7-5) 4-6 6-2.
It is a second title of the year for the 27-year-old after she won the clay-court event in Bogota in April.
Bouzkova twice led Navarro by a break in the first set but was reeled in by the former world number eight.
However, serving at 6-5 0-30 down, Bouzkova took a medical timeout after landing awkwardly on her right ankle.
She played on and recovered to deuce on her serve but there was another lengthy delay after a medical issue in the crowd.
After losing a close tie-breaker, Navarro reset to win the second set, but an early break in the decider was enough for Bouzkova to seal her fourth career singles title.
Bouzkova wished her dad a happy Father's Day in her on-court speech after he flew in to watch her victory.
